Audi A4 Car
The latest variant of the Audi A4 is generally already equipped with additional lights on the headlamp with LED (Light Emitted Diode) on the bottom of the reflector. Behind the elegant appearance that impressed with it, actually have a specific purpose.
As quoted from the official site Audi (Audi Worldwide), that every model of the auditorium has been equipped with special LED headlamp for use in the daytime.
Audi is a standard feature called LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), which will switch on automatically after the ignition key position until the car drove on. when the main lights on the switch by light sensor and rain sensor. DRL automatically switches off by itself.
DRL serves as a warning lamp, so that other road users can more quickly see your car, in any weather conditions during the day, So it is more secure and can reduce the accident rate on the highway.
LED types used are generally similar. consists of several diodes with a uniform beam of light toward the front. This type have an advantage over broad-ray emitting around. so that the reflection of light can be clearly seen.
