Bentley Cars

Police have located a silver Bentley Continental stolen from a Gold Coast home last night.

The $160,000 car, which was taken during a robbery on Hope Island, was located in Cotton Street at Nerang just after 3pm today. It is still in good condition.

Jewellery that was taken from the home remains missing.

At about 7pm last night offenders broke into the home on Riverleigh Drive, a street lined with multi-million dollar homes backing on to the Coomera River.

They used the home-owner's 2006 Bentley Continental, bearing personalised plates with 'MONKY' written on them, as a getaway vehicle.

Police have urged anyone who has information on the break and enter to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The theft of the Bentley came a day after billionaire mining magnate Nathan Tinkler's burnt out Ferrari was found by police after it was stolen from his Newcastle home on the weekend.
